About DisasterTrack USA
Last updated 6 Nov 2026
DisasterTrack USA makes FEMA's public record of disaster declarations easier to search and read. For any state, territory or county you can see which declarations FEMA made, when, for what kind of incident, and which assistance programmes were authorised, with a link back to FEMA's own record.
Who it is for
Residents checking their area's history, journalists and researchers who need sourced figures, students, and community organisations looking for the official agency to contact.
What it is not
- It is not a government website and is not affiliated with or endorsed by FEMA, NOAA, USGS or any agency.
- It is not an emergency or alert service. It shows historical records, not current conditions. In an emergency, call 911; for current warnings, see weather.gov alerts.
- It does not decide who qualifies for assistance. Only FEMA and other agencies do that.
Where the data comes from
All declaration data comes from FEMA's OpenFEMA dataset, Disaster Declarations Summaries – v2, downloaded and checked daily. The methodology page explains exactly how it is processed.
Who runs it
DisasterTrack USA is an independent project of Rumonz AI Studio. It is funded by advertising, which never appears above emergency information or inside data tables. See contact and corrections.
